A few things to know.
We’re building Selena with our early testers. Your feedback helps shape what comes next.
Do I need to install anything?
No download is required for the web alpha. Open Selena in your browser on a phone or computer. Speaking requires a microphone and internet connection. If a social app’s browser gives you trouble, open the link in your usual browser.
Can I type instead?
Yes. Voice is a natural way to experience Selena, and typing is available whenever it suits you. Your microphone stays off until you choose to start voice and grant permission.
Is this a regular phone call?
You can speak in your browser on your phone or computer. Members can also set up telephone access with a verified number and PIN. Alpha telephone calls last up to 10 minutes, with five callers at once across all members. SMS is not part of general alpha access.
What happens to my conversations?
Conversations are saved as text in your account. Audio recording is off during ordinary Talk, though speech providers process your audio. You can explicitly choose Record a conversation to save private audio. Authorized operators may access stored data for service operation and support. You can review, correct or forget saved memories; that does not delete chat history. Read how privacy and deletion work.
What does joining cost?
Founding Membership is $9/month plus applicable tax for the first 300 members. Keep that rate while your membership stays continuously active. It renews monthly; cancel anytime in Membership. See the membership benefits. Create your account and complete checkout to begin. Your normal internet or mobile data charges may apply. Alpha availability and usage limits may change while we test.
How do I give feedback?
Use Feedback inside a conversation. Attaching recent messages is optional and off by default. If you cannot get into Selena, visit Help to report a problem.
