Terms of Use

These terms describe use of Selena, operated by SoulBot Labs LLC at soulbot.life. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

The service

Selena is an AI conversational companion for reflection, discussion, and information. She is not a person or a licensed professional. Replies can be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your judgment and check important information with appropriate sources or qualified professionals.

Selena does not provide emergency response or continuous human monitoring. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Do not rely on Selena to contact help for you.

Accounts and alpha access

Use accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use only accounts and information you are authorized to access. Alpha access requires approval and may be limited, paused, or disabled. Features and availability can change during testing.

Do not impersonate others, attempt to access another person’s conversations, misuse the service, or submit content you do not have the right to share. You retain your rights in content you provide; you allow us and our service providers to process it to operate Selena as described in the Privacy Policy.

Pricing and any paid service offer will be presented before you choose it. This page does not enroll you in a paid plan. Your internet, mobile data, or messaging provider may charge for connectivity.

Saved conversations and memories

Selena saves conversations and can learn details for later conversations. You can review and correct saved memories. Memory controls do not delete the original chat transcripts, and AI recall is not guaranteed to be complete or accurate. See the Privacy Policy for data handling and requests.

Selena SMS by SoulBot Labs LLC

SMS consent requests are available; texting and telephone access are not active yet. The form records your optional SMS choice. An approved Selena account and separate phone verification are required before conversations can begin. Signing up for the web alpha or reading this page does not enroll you.

  • Purpose: optional, two-way conversational messages with Selena, an AI companion, plus confirmations and help related to your SMS enrollment. This program is not a promotional marketing subscription.
  • Consent: use the separate, initially unchecked SMS choice at our consent form to request enrollment. We record that choice and the disclosures you accepted. Consent alone does not prove phone ownership or activate SMS; separate verification is required. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or of using the web alpha, and does not include email marketing or phone-call consent.
  • Frequency: message frequency varies with your conversations and enrollment or help requests.
  • Charges: message and data rates may apply. Ask your carrier about your plan. Any separate Selena service price will be disclosed before you enroll.
  • Stopping: to withdraw a pending consent request now, email contact@soulbotlabs.com. Once SMS is active, reply STOP to unsubscribe. The program will confirm your opt-out and stop further program messages unless you enroll again. SMS opt-out does not delete your web account, conversations, or memories.
  • Help: once SMS is active, reply HELP for assistance, or email contact@soulbotlabs.com now.
  • Delivery: delivery depends on participating carriers and network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS is not an emergency or confidential counseling channel.
  • Privacy: see our Privacy Policy, including its protection of mobile information and SMS consent against third-party marketing use.

Founding Membership

When enrollment is open, membership costs $9 USD per month for the first 300 Founding Members and renews monthly until canceled. Any applicable taxes and the total appear at checkout. The founding rate continues while membership stays continuously active. After cancellation, future enrollment uses the then-current offer. Manage payment details and cancel from Membership & billing. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

Seven-day first-payment refund

If Selena is not a fit, email contact@soulbotlabs.com within seven days of your first membership payment to request a refund and cancellation. We will refund that first payment and cancel your membership. Cancellation is required for this offer, and paid access ends when the refund is processed. This offer applies only to your first payment, even if you have used Selena during those seven days. Applicable consumer rights remain in effect.
